Rotary Fish Fry Is Thursday

Published Wednesday, May 5, 1999 in the Nevada County Picayune

Prescott Rotary Club will have its annual fish fry Thursday beginning at 5:00 p.m. in the Prescott Elementary School cafetorium. It will end at 7:00.

The club members will be serving catfish fillets, French fries, coleslaw, hush puppies, iced tea and onions.

You may eat-in or carry-out.

Prices are $6 for adults. Children prices for eat-in are $3 for those younger than 12 years. All carry-outs are $6 each.

Tickets may be purchased from any Rotary member or from any band member.

The club is helping the bands at Prescott Schools this year in its different projects.

This past year the Rotary Club has helped the band buy uniforms, donated to Prescott Shuttle, the health fair, 4-H Foundation, the Chamber of Commerce Christmas parade and beautification project, Caddo Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America, Prescott Jaycees' toys for needy children, AAU basketball team, Tri-Service Club-Arkansas Arts Council, SWADC literacy program, Prescott High School FBLA, Prescott Baseball Association, Log A Load for Kids, D.A.R.E. program, Nevada County Health Unit, Nevada County Rescue Unit, Prescott High School-Rotary Leadership trophies, Prescott-Nevada County Industrial Development and other community projects as well as the Rotary Foundation and Rotary International projects.
