Junior and Ann Loe celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary last week. They celebrated with lunch at Woods in Camden Sunday. They were accompanied by Lucy Glass and Sidney Steed.

Jane Bradshaw of Camden visited Junior and Ann Saturday.

Having lunch with J.W. and Maxine Glass Sunday were their children, Karen Jobe and children, Jason and Sarah, Pam and Kevin Cleveland and children, Clancy and Hannah, Pat McCullough and children, Tim and Leah, Liz and Roger Nunn, Shauntell Bennett and Payton, Tracy and Marsha Bennett and Blayke.

Margie Reed and Betty McBride visited Coy and Grace Callicott Sunday evening after church. Coy and Grace have both been on the ailing list.

Mack Almand is home after spending several days in the hospital.

We received word Mabel White Cross passed away Sunday. Sympathy to Mike and Suzanne and other family members.

C&C Extension Homemakers meet Thursday evening. Candace Carrie will present the program.

Mike Rhodes of North Little Rock visited his mother, Louise, for the weekend.

Neighbors here in Caney are glad Loyce Tucker is home from Hillcrest Nursing. He fell some time ago and broke his hip and recuperated in the hospital and Hillcrest. He now uses a wheelchair to get around, but he is doing fine.

We had a good youth rally at Morris Baptist Church Saturday evening. The TNT group presented the program. I understand there was a record attendance for the associational youth rally.

We parents should spend a little less time complaining about the younger generation is going and a little more thinking about where it's coming from.
