Madelyn Witherington Parker MurryBENTON FUNERAL HOME of BENTONPublished Wednesday, February 14, 2001 in the Nevada County Picayune Madelyn Witherington Parker Murry, 94, of Hampton died Thursday, February 1, 2001. Mrs. Murry was born August 8, 1906, in Woodberry. She was a retired school teacher and Farmers Home Administration employee. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Floyd Parker and Rucker Murry. Survivors include one son, Jim D. Red' Parker of Fordyce; one daughter, Judy Wood of Little Rock; a stepson, Rucker W. Murry of North Little Rock; a stepdaughter, Tanna M. Howell of North Little Rock; five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one great, great grandchild; two step-grandsons; one step-granddaughter; and 10 step great grandsons. Graveside services were held Saturday, February 3, at New Hope Cemetery near Hampton. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Prescott, 201 East Main St., Prescott, AR 71857. Arrangements were under the direction of Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
