The month of February has been a busy month for the Senior Adult Center. Reassessments of our members has been completed and most of our council membership dues have been collected.

We have enjoyed many activities. Lloyd and Ann Baumgardner sang for us on Feb. 2. Bill Allen played the piano for us on Feb. 8. Bingo will be played on Mondays. Our council meeting was Tuesday, Feb. 13.

Our Valentine contestants have been working hard to win votes. Cakes as well as other articles have been auctioned. The king and queen contest will end Feb. 14 (today). Our center will celebrate its anniversary on the 14th also. We're thankful for our center and for those who worked so hard in the past that we might enjoy it today.

Our love and prayers are with our sick ones, Junior Thrasher, Dr. George Peeples, Eulah Wilson, Maxine Purifoy and Bennie Freeman.

The week of Feb. 19th through the 23rd will be Nutrition Week with Dr. Barbara Holt.

Our Cover Girls have finished their quilt, but they have several more to do.

Square dancing with Tommy and Dorothy Hayes will be on the 16th.

We would love for those 60 and over to come and visit us. We are proud of the center and our staff. I'm sure we have some activity that you'll enjoy.

The center is a program of the Central Arkansas Development Council and a United Way Agency.
