The officers and members of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church of Okolona will celebrate their pastor and his wife, Rev. and Mrs. Rufus R. Hatley, and their family's eighth pastor's anniversary Sunday, Feb. 18, at 3:00 p.m. Everyone and all churches are welcome. Special guest will be Lonoke Baptist Church of Hope with Rev. Alvin Hunter, pastor and speaker. Rev. Rufus R. Hatley, pastor.

The third Sunday night fellowship singing will convene with St. Clair Baptist Church in Burtsell Sunday, Feb. 18, at 6:00 p.m. Everyone and all churches are welcome. Bro. Roosevelt House and Bro. Leodis Lyons are in charge.

There will be an appreciation program Saturday, Feb. 24, at 6:30 p.m at St. Clair Baptist Church in Burtsell for Bro. Joe Welch and Bro. T.A. Gatlin. Everyone and all churches are welcome to attend.

Welcome to our Black History program on Feb. 25 at 11:00 a.m. at New Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Gurdon. Everyone is welcome. Sis. Rose C. Crowe, youth director, and Rev. Quintin Radford, pastor.

There will be an appreciation program presented for Sis. Berdie Quarles at Eastern Star Baptist Church of the Smithton community Saturday, March 10, at 6:30 p.m. Everyone and all churches are welcome to attend. Rev. Marshall Allen, pastor.

Happy birthday to Mrs. Helen Burton on Feb. 12, the mother of Jerine Hatley, Winfred Burton and Ella Burton. Bro. James A. Stafford had surgery last week in Little Rock. He is reportedly doing fair.

A Founder's Day program will be held Feb. 25 at 3:00 p.m at Bethel A.M.E. Church with Rev. Betty Gulley, pastor.

A celebration of the sixteenth pastoral anniversary of Rev. Johnny C. Harris and family will be held Sunday, March 4, at 3:00 p.m at Mt. Canaan Baptist Church, 504 South Fifth in Gurdon. Guest church will be Greater Pleasant Hill Baptist Church of Arkadelphia. Pastor is Rev. Lewis A. Shepherd Jr. The public and all churches are invited to attend.

Bethel A.M.E. Church is holding its spring musical March 17 at 7:00 p.m and wish to invite all churches to attend. The musical is sponsored by Sis. Bertha Vinson. Pastor, Rev. Betty Gulley.
