Billy G. SullivanHORNE FUNERAL HOME of GURDONPublished Wednesday, February 14, 2001 in the Gurdon Times Billy G. Sullivan, 71, of Whelen Springs died Sunday, February 11, 2001. Mr. Sullivan was a member of Whelen Springs Baptist Church. He was a retired major in the U.S. Air Force. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Daisy Sullivan; a son, David Scott Sullivan, and a grandchild, Kyle Andrew Jenkins. Mr. Sullivan is survived by his wife, Ruth B. Sullivan; a son, John William Sullivan and his wife Renee of Belleville, Ill.; two daughters, Bobbie Lynn Williams Willis of Moreland, Kan., and Melody Ann Sullivan Jenkins and her husband Terry of Marissa, Ill.; and five grandchildren. A memorial service is planned for 2:00 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 15, in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel in Gurdon with interment of cremains in Bethlehem Cemetery.
