College News - UACCH Awards Scholarships

The University of Arkansas Community College at Hope is pleased to announce that Ashley LeAnne Gentry, Hannah Nicole Ward, Jamarrio Traveil Beasley, Paul Edward Patton, Pamela Nicole Young, Ronetha Marie Pearson, Carrenthia Lynette Gulley and Timothy John Potts, all seniors at Nevada High School, have been awarded tuition scholarships based on an ACT score and grade point average plus a recommendation from a school official.

Gentry is the daughter of John and Melinda Knight and Gilbert Gentry of Stamps. She will be pursuing an associate of applied science in business technology.

Ward is the daughter of John and Rhonda Ward of Falcon. She will be pursuing an associate of applied science in business technology.

Beasley is the son of James and Carolyn Beasley of Willisville and will be entering the industrial construction electricity program.

Patton is the son of Kevin and June Hamilton of Texarkana. He will be pursuing a bachelor of science in nursing degree.

Young is the daughter of Jessie Young of Rosston and Zeola McKinney of Willisville. She will be pursuing an associate of applied science in business technology degree.

Pearson is the daughter of Lee and Velma Pearson of Rosston and will be pursuing an associate of applied science degree in criminal justice.

Gulley is the daughter of Jenny Gulley of Rosston and will be pursuing a certified nursing assistant certificate.

Potts is the son of Louis and Cindy Jackson of Rosston and will be pursuing an associate of arts degree in general education.
