Want to win a cool $50?

Then put your best chicken oriented idea down on paper for the 14th Annual Prescott-Nevada County Chamber of Commerce Chicken and Egg Festival T-shirt contest.

And, those planning to enter should hurry up with their designs, as the deadline is March 2, 2001, this year.

This year's festival will take place June 1-2, the first weekend of the month.

Designs may use up to three colors and should be 8 inches by 10 inches or larger.

A committee of judges can acceptor reject any or all entries, and the judges will be from out of town.

Once the design has been selected, the Chamber will choose what color the T-shirt will be.

Sara Ramos won the contest last year and had her design on a gray shirt, which proved to be extremely popular.

Along with the $50 cash prize, this year's winner will receive a festival T-shirt.

Businesses and industries, along with others, are encouraged to wear their festival shirts Fridays until the festival to show their support.

For more information about the contest, call Mary Godwin, executive director of the Chamber, at 887-2101.
