Classy Moments from Cabe Middle SchoolPublished Wednesday, February 7, 2001 in the Gurdon TimesMrs. Hogue, Cabe Middle School secretary, probably feels as though she has opened a health clinic, as she is so busy taking temps, and assisting students to be absent. Hopefully the old bugs' will leave our school soon. Tuesday progress reports were to be sent home Feb. 7. They should be signed by the parents and returned to the teachers. Strange things happen to the progress reports from time to time. Royalty will be crowned during the assembly Feb. 14. The yearbook committee is hard at work, getting each page ready for a go-ahead,' so it can be sent to the publisher soon. Students enjoy getting their books back in time for classmates to sign their book. Prices had to be increased this time due to an increase in the publishing cost; therefore, this year the book will be $18. Plans are to check with a rival publisher for next year's book. Let it be know that illness, hard work, homework, lesson plans and other little things do not keep us from making those Classy Moments at CMS.
