I am so thankful for the beautiful sunshine we have been enjoying.

Three of our center members are in Twin Rivers Rehab recuperating. They Eulah Wilson, Maxine Purifoy and Junior Thrasher. Our love and prayers are with them, and hope they can soon be back with us.

The king and queen contestants are still working hard. They have brought cakes, quilt-tops and stuffed animals to be auctioned. We will know on Feb. 14 who the winners are.

Feb. 14 will also be the center's 26th anniversary. We are very proud of the center and its staff. The center is a blessing to many people. There are many services that it has to offer.

Beatrice Stafford did a wonderful job decorating the birthday window for February.

A group from the center went on a shopping trip last Thursday.

There are several activities planned for February. We would like for all those 60 and over to come and enjoy themselves with us.

The center is a program of the Central Arkansas Development Council and a United Way Agency.
