WILLIE HOOKSPublished Wednesday, January 24, 2001 in the Nevada County Picayune Our son Willie Hugh came Monday and brought us dinner and helped Willie burn most of the brush piles in our yard. Bro. Ferrel Nelson and his wife Glenda brought us dinner Tuesday and visited a while. The food was delicious and we enjoyed their visit. Doug and Carol Johnson of North Little Rock spent last weekend with his mother, Mildred Johnson. Mary and Everett Orren met some of their classmates, Ed and Mary Hubbard, Barbara Stewart and Joy and Lynn Slappon at Catfish King Saturday night for supper and to visit. Joel and Juanita Ridgell of Cumby, Texas, brought dinner picked up my sister, Elsie Elmore, and we all had dinner together recently. Joel and Juanita also visited her brother, Charlie Mann, and his wife Francis. Sammy House spent Sunday with his parents Lenord and Faye House. Ruth Newth spent a few days with her sister Louise Crayne. Edgar and Wanda White and Everett Orren visited together with Chloe Orren one day last week.
