School Menus: January 29 to February 2Published Wednesday, January 24, 2001 in the Nevada County PicayuneMenus for the area schools for the week of January 29-February 2 are as follows. All meals are served with milk. They are also subject to change. Breakfast in Prescott Schools is served from 8:00 to 8:30 and lunch is served between 11:30 and 12:00. Prescott School District The McRae Middle School (MMS) and Prescott High School offer different bar selections for lunch. The bar selections are listed at the end of the lunch paragraphs. BREAKFAST MONDAY: Sausage roll and juice. TUESDAY: Bacon and biscuit and juice. WEDNESDAY: Cheese toast and juice. THURSDAY: Cinnamon toast and juice. FRIDAY: Sausage and biscuit and juice. LUNCH MONDAY: Chicken tenders, mashed potatoes with gravy, apricots and roll; PHS, pizza bar. TUESDAY: Vegetable beef soup, crackers, grilled cheese sandwich, Rosey applesauce and raisin oatmeal cookie; PHS: hamburger and fries bar; MMS: salad bar. WEDNESDAY: Chicken crispitos, garden salad with dressing, Mexicali corn and fresh fruit cup; PHS: Pizza bar, MMS: Potato bar. THURSDAY: Barbecue on bun, baked beans, corn on the cob, dill pickle and fruited cherry Jell-O; PHS, chicken patty and fries bar. FRIDAY: Spaghetti with meat sauce, spinach salad, grapes and roll. Emmet School District BREAKFAST MONDAY: Ham, toast with jelly and juice. TUESDAY: Bagel with butter and syrup and juice. WEDNESDAY: Scrambled eggs, toast and juice. THURSDAY: Cheese toast, ham slices and juice. FRIDAY: Sausage biscuit and juice. LUNCH MONDAY: Chicken crispitoes, salsa, chilled peach slices, green beans and no bake chocolate cookies. TUESDAY: Chicken fried steak with gravy, buttered carrots, cranberry sauce, hot rolls with butter and jelly. WEDNESDAY: Fried chicken, creamed potatoes with gravy, apple sauce, hot biscuits with honey and butter. THURSDAY: Sliced roast beef, green beans, rice and gravy, hot rolls with butter and honey. FRIDAY: Pizza, salad bar, pineapple and peanut cup. Nevada School District BREAKFAST MONDAY: Waffles with syrup and juice. TUESDAY: Pancake on stick with syrup and milk. WEDNESDAY: Manager's choice. THURSDAY: Not available. FRIDAY: Not available. LUNCH MONDAY: Crispitoes, green beans, and yams. TUESDAY: Vegetable beef soup, salad and grilled cheese sandwich. WEDNESDAY: Manager's choice.
