HORNE FUNERAL HOME of GURDON

J.B. Atkins, 90, of Arkadelphia died Saturday, January 13, 2001.

Mr. Atkins was a retired steel worker. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eva Atkins, a daughter, Sandra Blackmon, and sons in-law, A.C. Read and Thomas Skeoch.

Survivors include two sons, Jim Atkins of Nokomis, Fla., and Jack Atkins of DeMotte, Ind.; two daughters, Rebecca Lambert of Arkadelphia and Jane Skeoch of Livingston, Mont.; a brother, Leslie Atkins of Waxahachie, Texas; 15 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.

Memorial services were held Thursday, Jan. 18, in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel in Gurdon. Burial was in Harts Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Horne Funeral Home of Gurdon.
