RosstonPublished Wednesday, May 5, 1999 in the Nevada County PicayuneMarguerite Williams Rosston regrets that we were misinformed about the death of Millard Butcher of Stephens a few weeks ago. Sympathy to the Buddy Jarvis family of Houston. He passed away and was buried there this past week. Billy Wayne Jarvis took Lee and Wayne to the funeral. Tommie Lew Jarvis and Elsie Williams stayed with Ina Jarvis while they were gone. Roscoe and I had a week's vacation on Lake Ouachita with Doug and Rhonda Morgan of Camden. Bobby and Rheba Cook Wood of Camden camped with us. We had lots of good fish and good fellowship. Sue Dixon and I attended homecoming at Whites Chapel today. We enjoyed a good lunch with them and good singing this afternoon. Maxine Luck came home yesterday from the rehab center in Texarkana, and was able to be in church today. Daughter, Darla Wise, of Little Rock spent a few days with them. We are happy to have them home after a few weeks in the hospital and rehab. Continue to pray for Maxine. Sherry Dillard Clark is in St. Michael Hospital in Texarkana. He needs our prayers. Everyone is invited to the 50th wedding anniversary of Joe and Virginia Dillard at the Douglas Building on Texas Street in Hope Saturday afternoon from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. A tornado almost touched the ground near Rosston one day this week. The roof was torn off the Darrel Caldwell barn and several trees twisted off on the farm. There was also damage at the Jarvis deer camp, but nothing major. Sue Dixon and twin cousins Kathleen and Marcelene vacationed in Branson, Mo., a few days this week. They saw several shows and had a good time.
