There will be a Mother's Day program at New Bethel AME Church in Rosston Sunday, May 9. Rev. Delton Ray Gulley will be the guest speaker at 2:30. Rev. Lessly Banks is the pastor.

Bro. Bobby Gulley preached his first sermon at Oak Grove Baptist Church Sunday. He really did do good for his first time. His family members, Aaron Gulley and L.V. Son, were real supportive. He has a wife and four children. They live in Rosston city limits.

Therman Simpson is in Medical Park Hospital at Hope. He has had his leg amputated.

Stella Warren is in the hospital in Texarkana.

There will be a banquet Saturday evening at the Civic League Building. One of our home boys, Maurice Rigsby, the son of Ruthlene Williams Rigsby, will be the guest speaker.

Bro. De Willis is on our sick list. Let's pray for our sick people everywhere.

An Appreciation for Sister Gloria Young, pianist for Young Circuit, was held Saturday night, May 1, at Cana AME Church. It was very nice.

Rev. Chester Ford's father is in Medical Park Hospital in Hope.
