Maxwell Overton MormanBRZZEL / CORNISH FUNERAL HOME of PRESCOTTPublished Wednesday, January 17, 2001 in the Nevada County Picayune Maxwell Overton Morman, 71, of Rosston died Sunday, January 14, 2001, at Hillcrest Care and Rehab Center in Prescott. Mr. Morman was born October 17, 1929, in Rosston to Overton Pete' and Nobie Agness Schooley Morman. He was a retired owner-operator of an Exxon Service for 20 years and he was retired from the Arkansas Forestry Commission. Mr. Morman was a member of First Baptist Church of Rosston since 1956, when he was saved and joined the church. He was preceded in death by his parents and by one son, Gary Lynn Morman, who died November 2, 1974. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Lyn Dean Beebe Morman of Rosston; one son and daughter-in-law, Max Alan and Wendy Morman of Rosston; one daughter and son-in-law, Tami and Mike Cottingham of Prescott; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Abb and Melva Morman of Prescott and Tim and Paulette Morman of Ogden; one sister, Shelby Jean Morman of Irving, Texas; one brother-in-law and sister-in-law, W.C. Beebe and Ruth of Hope; one sister-in-law, Irene Beebe Pope of Rosston; his pride and joy (he leaves behind) four grandchildren, Cassie Cottingham of Prescott and Ted Morman, Amy Morman and Marc Morman of Rosston; four nieces and three nephews. Funeral services were held Tuesday, January 16, at First Baptist Church in Rosston with Rev. Donnie Dillard and Rev. Mark Faulkner officiating.
