Fannie Mae 'Pennie' Daniel ParkerHORNE FUNERAL HOME of GURDONPublished Wednesday, January 10, 2001 in the Gurdon Times Fannie Mae Pennie' Daniel Parker, 88, of Hot Springs died Sunday, January 7, 2001, in Temple, Texas. Born May 10, 1912, Mrs. Parker was the daughter of Fannie Belle Duke and Thomas Jesse Daniel. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Hot Springs. Mrs. Parker was preceded in death by her husband, A.C. Parker, and two brothers, Bud and Frank Daniel. Survivors include two sisters, Cecelia Morrow of New Mexico and Addie Waller of Oklahoma; three sons, Harrell Parker of Huntsville, Ala., Rev. Art Parker of Mt. Ida and Troy Parker of Gurdon; three daughters, Lola Brown of Hot Springs and Addie Lee Parker and Gloria Schrimsher of Troy, Texas; 15 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at First Assembly of God Church, 3540 Central Avenue in Hot Springs at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 10, with Rev. Art Parker officiating.
