This includes not only paid workers, but the uncountable number of volunteers. We know at times you had to deal with impatience and short tempers, but we hope it was not too often. While many of you workers were laboring so hard to help as many as possible as quickly as possible, we realize that you were away from your families and friends so quickly after Christmas, and for that we say thank you so much. To the citizens of Nevada County, please be patient and helpful and realize that these people are working as hard as they can and do not have to put in the extra hours to help us. Ownership of all Nevada County Picayune content from the beginning of the newspaper, including predecessors, until May 2001 was contributed by the John and Betty Ragsdale family to the Prescott Community Freenet Association.
