Jerry C. GoldsbyMITCHELL FUNERAL HOME of ARKADELPHIAPublished Wednesday, December 20, 2000 in the Gurdon Times Jerry C. Goldsby, 84, of Gurdon died Sunday, November 12, 2000, at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock. Mr. Goldsby was born Oct. 15, 1916, in Gurdon, the son of the late Charlie and Crissie Goldsby. He was a retired employee of Reynolds Metals Co. and a member of New Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Gurdon. Survivors include three sons, Charles Goldsby of Seattle, Wash., Robert Goldsby of Phoenix, Ariz., and Eddie Goldsby of Oak Park, Mich.; a daughter, Carolyn Goldsby Hill of Gurdon; a sister, Christine Wiley of Gurdon; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. The funeral was held Thursday, Nov. 16, at New Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Dr. J.N. McCollum officiating.
