Hope everyone has been able to safely get around in this weather. When I moved to Arkansas I thought I had moved away from weather like this. I had always lived in states where this was normal in the winter.

We wish to thank our center staff for the good meal they prepared for our Christmas dinner last Sunday. We also thank the ladies for preparing the desserts and also for the community who were there to enjoy it. We especially thank our volunteers.

The music makers sang at Twin Rivers last Tuesday, and we had a craft sale at the center Friday.

This week we will have Christmas bingo, council meeting on Tuesday, and the senior adults will dine out Tuesday evening. We have other activities planned for next week.

We wish everyone a happy Christmas. Let us not forget whose birthday we celebrate and the blessings we have enjoyed this last month. The center will be closed December 25 and 26.

One of our ladies, Arline Cathey, celebrated a birthday last month. Many more, Arline.

The center is a program of the Central Arkansas Development Council and a United Way Agency.
