Willisville NewsGERTRUDE HENRYPublished Wednesday, December 13, 2000 in the Nevada County Picayune Pleasant Grove will be having its Christmas program the 17th of December during the morning worship. Everyone is welcome. Sara Johnson is in Medical Park Hospital in Hope. We pray she'll have a speedy recovery. Jean Dansby is home from the hospital. Hope she's feeling better. Elder Brown and Minister Lane from St. James, C.O.G.I.C. had an appreciation program Sunday at 3 p.m. Elder Fort is the pastor. Kendrick Chapel will be having its Christmas program the fourth Sunday morning. Rev. J.W. McGraw is the pastor. Coming soon on Highway 371 adjoining Odell and Paula's Grocery Store in Willisville will be the Washer Game as soon as weather permits. This is sponsored by the retirees. December 9 Hazel Paden, Narva Jean Crayton, Willie Muldrew, her Aunt Mary and Uncle, traveled to Marshall, Texas. Upon their arrival they were given a guided tour of the Christmas lights. December 8 a reception was held in Prescott for Congressman Mike Ross. Dr. Malvia Lee Giles sang a solo. Mrs. Ruth Ingram was also a guest. Gurthlee Ingram is still in the hospital at this writing. Edward Henry is back home after spending a week in Dallas, Texas. Thought for the week: God doesn't answer e-mail, he answers knee mail.
