Grace DowingSHACKELFORD FUNERAL HOMEPublished Wednesday, December 13, 2000 in the Nevada County Picayune Grace Dowing, 92, of Prescott died Thursday, December 7, 2000, at Hillcrest Care and Rehab in Prescott. Miss Dowing was born October 2, 1908, in Nevada County to William Riley Dowing and Fannie Davis Dowing. She was a retired florist from Cornish Flowers and a member of New Salem Methodist Church. Survivors include six nieces, Minnie Hart of Wink, Texas, Florence Baker of Texarkana, Texas; Louise McKissack of Longview, Texas; Margaret Schaeffer of Fouke; Mildrred Stallsworth of Benton, La., and Sue Monroe of Arlington, Texas.
