College NewsPublished Wednesday, May 12, 1999 in the Nevada County PicayuneWendy Muldrew, daughter of Patricia and Ivory Roberts, will be graduating from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Saturday, May 15 at 6:30 p.m. in the Pine Bluff Convention Center. Joshua Casey and Mark Barr, seniors at Nevada High School, have been awarded technical scholarships at the University of Arkansas Community College at Hope. The scholarships are based on an ACT score and grade point average plus a recommendation from a school official. Barr is the son of A.W. and Ruth Barr of Emmet. He will be pursuing an industrial electricity certificate. Casey is the son of Bill and Ruth Ann Casey of Waldo. He will be pursuing in industrial maintenance certificate. John Stacy Tidwell from the Oak Grove community will graduate from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Saturday, May 15, at 7:00 p.m. He will receive a bachelor science of degree in social work. |
