Clinton L. JesterHORNE FUNERAL HOME of GURDONPublished Wednesday, December 6, 2000 in the Gurdon Times Clinton L. Jester, 61, of Hot Springs died Thursday, November 30, 2000, in a Hot Springs hospital. Mr. Jester was honorably discharged from the Arkansas National Guard, where he served from 1953 to 1956. Mr. Jester was preceded in death by his wife, Angelee, a son, little Clint, and a daughter, Cecelia. He is survived by a son, Rusty Jester of Whelen Springs; three daughters, Rowena Karr of Dinwiddie, Va., Carolyn McClure of Whelen Springs, and Valarie Giles of Gurdon; three brothers, Clarence Jester of Curtis and Allmon Jester and James Jester, both of Gurdon; five sisters, Lucille Purifoy of Gurdon, Benni Batchelder of Benton, Freda Vanlandingham of Sparkman, Lyvone Crossley of Sparkman and Geraldin Francis of Malvern. A memorial service was held Monday, December 4, in Davis Cemetery near Vaden.
