NEVADA 57

This was a game of two different halves. Prescott had the momentum during the first 16 minutes, with old Mo shifting to Nevada for the second 16.

The Wolves jumped out to an18-10 lead at the end of one, and led 28-19 at halftime.

Nevada fought back to cut the lead to five by the end of three at 40-35, then outscored Prescott 22-13 in the final eight minutes to steal the win.

The Wolves hit five of 10 from the charity stripe, while the Blue Jays connected on 12 of 16 free throws.

Kevin Fulks paced Prescott with 16 points, while Justin Tidwell and Decolon Prater added 10 each.

Matt Young led the Jays with 16, with Jemarrio Beasley adding 11 and Jason Yarbrough netting 10.

Prescott Coach Larry Newsom said the team didn't rebound well in the second half, and lost a lot of its intensity from the first half to the second.

In addition, the Jays tightened their defense and took away the inside. This, coupled with Prescott not shooting well outside, was enough to allow Nevada to fight back and win.
