Prescott Public School Pageants Friday, Saturday Night

With the celebration of the 30th annual Miss PHS Pageant, the event has now taken on a new name, Miss Prescott Public Schools.

Not only will there be a Miss PHS, but now there will be a Little Miss, Petite Miss, Junior Miss and Teen Miss. Each contest must be enrolled in the Prescott School District.

The Wolf Trail staff, which puts on the pageant each year, says that this will be the best they ever had. It will be a grand and elegant production, which they would like all past winners to be a part. Contact Cyndi Moorman at 887-3123 or Mistie Holley at 887-6089.

The pageant will be held Friday, December 1, at 7:00 p.m. for the Little Miss and Petite Miss contestants and on Saturday, December 2, at 6:30 p.m. for Junior Miss, Teen Miss and Miss contestants.

Tickets for the Little Miss and Petite Miss are $3 for everyone except children under five years of age. They may attend free with parents. For the junior Miss, Teen Miss and Miss Pageants the tickets will be $5 in advance, which can be purchased from any staff or contestant, and $6 at the door. Children five and under will be admitted for $2 and student tickets are $3.

The Wolf Trail staff consists of Mistie Holley, Leigh Hillery, Angela McGough, Kim Fitzugh, Chad Martin, Leslie Russell, Megan Taylor, Jennifer Thornton, Amanda Cummings and John Fulmer. You may contact any Wolf Trail member or any PPS contestant for a ticket.

This year with the expansion of the pageant, there are many lovely contestants in several divisions.

The Little Miss contestants are Amanda Hamilton, Kaylee Fincher and Shelby Arnette. Morgan Daniel is the only contestant inn the Petite Miss pageant. In Junior Miss the contestants are Chelsie Ward, Harley Daniel, Taleina Woodberry and Mandi Douglas. The Teen contestants are Jessica Honea, Kathryn Lavender, Chilista Norris, Arrica Aldridge, Meagan Miller, Catlin Allen, Kelsey Ratcliff and Lauren Byrd. Miss PHS contestants are Cassie Cottingham, Tiffany Young, Brandy Stuckey, Marie Smallwood, Cynequa Haynie, Jaynee Hurd, Amanda Pruitt, April Marks and Megan Reeder.

Escorts for the evening will include Brandon Tullis, Casey Ward, Craig Teague, Ralf Marlow, Alex Wilson Matthew Yates, Terrance Stuart, Darryl Tidwell and Mannual Stuart.
