College News - HSU Graduation PlannedPublished Wednesday, November 29, 2000 in the Gurdon TimesAmy Orlena Gibson, Monica Shunta Hatley, Corey Cordell Key, Joel Farrist Ledbetter and Scott Alan Thompson, all of Gurdon, will be graduating with a bachelor's degree Friday, Dec. 15, from Henderson State University. Lavinia Renee Young of Gurdon will be graduating with a master's degree. Henderson State University's 2000 winter commencement will begin at 6:00 p.m. at Wells Center Gymnasium. Dr. Ken Green Jr., assistant professor of the department of business, will provide the faculty charge for the schools of business and education, which march at 6:00 p.m. Dr. Rick McDaniel, assistant professor and chair of the physics department, will present the charge for the Matt Locke Ellis College of Arts and Sciences, which marches at 8:00 p.m. Search | Nevada County Picayune by date | Gurdon Times by date |
