Lois Marie BakerPublished Wednesday, May 12, 1999 in the Nevada County PicayuneLois Marie Baker, 84, of New Boston, Texas, formerly from Prescott, died Sunday, May 2, 1999, at Christus St. Michael Health System in Texarkana, Texas. Mrs. Baker was born June 2, 1914, in Shepard to Bernice B. and Allie Mae Powell Beavers. She was a waitress and store clerk and a member of the Assembly of God Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Erbin Baker, son, R.B. Baker, and daughter, Barbara Lois Baker. Survivors include one son, Bobby Newt Baker of Little Rock; one sister, Helen Beavert of Prescott, eight grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren. Graveside services were Thursday, May 6, at DeAnn Cemetery in Prescott with Rev. Chad Brandon officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home of Prescott.
