Tillman Caruthers

Tillman Caruthers, 76, of Prescott died Monday, November 27, 2000, at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock.

Mr. Caruthers was born March 1, 1924, in Prescott to William Leon and Roxie Faulkner Carruthers. He was a retired heavy equipment operator. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Prescott and a member of Union Local 3328. He was preceded in death by his parents, by one son, Tony Leon Carruthers, and by one sister, Louise Haynie.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Johnson Caruthers of Prescott; two sons, Tillman Carruthers Jr. of Altheimer and Thomas Charles Caruthers of Pine Bluff; one brother, Charles Leon Carruthers of Hope; one sister, Ann Campbell of Prescott; four grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be today, Wednesday, November 29, at 2:00 p.m. at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home Chapel in Prescott with Rev. Neal Ridling officiating. Burial will be in DeAnn Cemetery under the direction of Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home of Prescott.

Family will receive friends Tuesday, Nov., 28, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
