Redland NewsHAZEL MEEKSPublished Wednesday, November 29, 2000 in the Nevada County Picayune Gobble, gobble and its all over and I suppose we're all full of turkey. I'm so glad to tell about this next news and I think it's a real honor. The children of the late Fred and Thelma Bolls still meet at least once a year. I'm not acquainted with the families so I'll just name the kids, Jackie, Buddy, Dinah, Mary Nell, Barbara, Martha and Charlie (deceased), his wife Joy attended. By the way they met at the home of the late Dudly and Zann Rouse. Kids, keep it up. Frances Swift and grandson Matt met his mother for Thanksgiving in Waco, Texas, and then he and his mother went on to San Antonio. Johnny and Helen Ridling spent Thanksgiving with her daughter Amy near Little Rock. Danny, Cherrie and Katy Wilson hosted Thanksgiving dinner at their home. About 10 family members were present. On Friday Cherrie and Katy went to the mall and ate Chinese food and went shopping. Eddie and Bettie Hillery enjoyed their kids, Jerry, Rhonda, Justin and Cole Hillery, Chanda and Lane Martin, Kristi, Darren and Emilee Neal for Thanksgiving. Those enjoying the holiday with Billie Ridling were Terri, Ronnie and Megan Vandiver, Kim, Shelby, and Toby Cottingham, Bron and Stan Koger, Lana, David and two boys from Memphis, Lela Faye and Donna Ridling. Casey Hendrix from Little Rock hasn't given up yet. He is still deer hunting. Shannon, Dave and Tyler Henderson had her family for Thanksgiving. They were Linda, Tommy Joe and wife Courtney, Casey Hendrix, her mother and dad, Kay and Junior Hendrix, Grandmother Wilma Compton, and Darlene and Jerry Henderson. Saturday Cherrie and Katy Wilson and Kim and Samantha Gordon attended the Memphis Flea Market near Benton. John, Gina, Erica and Ryan Burdue spent Thanksgiving with her parents, Harvey and Faye Taylor. Guests of Joey and George Cox on Thursday were Gary, Gaywyn and Gigi Golden, Danny, Lisa, Kyle and Caley Pennington and Grant and Gina Golden from Hope. Those spending Thanksgiving day with Randy, Charity and Caleb Lowdermilk were Betty Wilson, J.D. and Margaret Wilson from Hot Springs Village, Bill, Janet and two daughters from Pine Bluff, Chris and Ginger Meeks from Dallas, Casey Meeks from Jackson, Miss., Neil and me. Bro. Larry Byers, Marion and Emily visited Willie and Julene Hulan on Friday night and they also visited Neal and me.
