We are having plenty of rain around Rosston. The Lord knows what we need.

If Jesus came to your house to spend a day or two, if he just showed up unannounced, I wonder what you'd do? Would you have to tidy up before you let him in? Or hide some books and put the Bible where it would be seen?

Christmas is just around the corner. Let's not forget why we celebrate Christmas.

There are a lot of sick people. We lost one of our best friends, Mr. Ira W. Harris. He taught school at Oak Grove for many years and did a lot for the people. He trained a lot of boys how to work. He was a good person and a Christian man. He attended Bethel AME Church and did a lot for us.

Josie Simpson died Saturday.

Ezra Muldrow passed away Saturday. His funeral has not been arranged at this writing.

The planning council of the Magnolia District will meet December 9 at Mt. Pleasant AME Church.

Mary Lou Wyrick Blake's brother died last week. I have not heard when the funeral will be.
