James Larry HarperHORNE FUNERAL HOME of GURDONPublished Wednesday, November 29, 2000 in the Gurdon Times James Larry Harper, 51, of Chidester died Saturday, November 25, 2000. Mr. Harper was owner of Gulley's Package Store. He was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, James and Kendra Harper of Murfreesboro and Chris and Angie Harper of Whelen Springs; two brothers, Bruce Harper of Smackover and Herbert Harper of Reader; three sisters, Jeanell Rogers of Camden and Nelda Calley and Rhonda Robertson, both of Chidester; and four grandchildren. Mr. Harper was preceded in death by his wife, Diane, and his parents, Lee Roy and Ruby Harper. Graveside services were held Sunday, Nov. 26, in Red Hill Cemetery by Horne Funeral Home of Gurdon.
