You probably can't believe this, but I think maybe I might take my electric blanket off.

Bill and Deanie Luck from Mt. Pleasant, Texas, spent Mother's Day weekend with her mother, Frances Bidwell.

Charity and Caleb Lowdermilk spent Saturday in Texarkana with her mother, Betty, and Tim Wilson. Tim is not doing good at all.

Thomas Hulan and girls, Kim and Ashlie, from Gurdon visited his mother, Julene, and Willie on Mother's Day and attended church at Shady Grove.

Tom Ghormley and Casey Hendrix have returned from a sight seeing trip to Washington, D.C.

Becky, Richard, Deidre and Amber Stivers from Murfreesboro spent Mother's Day with her mother, Pat Ingersoll. Pat's husband, Donald, left on Sunday morning for Oklahoma City to take part in the Arkansas Baptist Relief Disaster program.

Kay Hendrix and her family and Linda Ghormley and her family spent Sunday with their mother, Wilma, and Cline Compton.

Harvey and Faye Taylor spent Saturday with her mother, Minnie Moore, and other family members.

Jackie Lucas from Little Rock visited her mother, Mozell Gill, at Hillcrest Rehab and with her daughter, Cherrie Wilson, and her family.

We at Shady Grove are very proud of our young folks. Last Wednesday night about 35 youth and a few adults attended the youth revival at Laneburg and sang one song and performed with the bells.

Bobby and Laurie Pilgreen hosted a family Mother's Day get together at their beautiful home out from Bluff City. I understand a large crowd attended.

We are urging each of you to remember and try to attend our four-night revival starting the 16th. It will go through the 19th at 7:00 each night. Bro. Sam Husser will be doing the preaching. There will be special music each night.

Ann and Dale Wylie from Hope enjoyed Mother's Day with her parents, Pershing and Mary Cox.

Larry, Dana, Zack and Zayne Otwell hosted a blue's clues birthday for Zoie Beth at their new house on Sunday, May 2. She was three years old. Her friends who helped her celebrate were Kelsey Wren, Haley, Morgan, and Darby Daniel, Dayne Ghormley, Brooke and Brant Cornelius, Jessica and Brandon Honea, Shelbi Cottingham, Brian Harris, Queisha and LaGorgio Gulley, Garrett and Darbie Crellin, Amy and Ben Smith, Hope and Camille Hawley, Kayla Ammons, Addie Byers, Harley Hicks, and Memaw Pauline and Glen from Hope.

Unknown church bulletin: A bean supper will be held on Tuesday evening in the church hall. Music will follow.
