Nelson Completes Family ResidencyPublished Wednesday, November 22, 2000 in the Nevada County PicayuneThe Area Health Education Center in Fort Smith has announced that Elizabeth Nelson, M.D., completed her family practice residency in July. Dr. Nelson has joined the Clarksville Medical Group in Clarksville. She will care for patients of all ages, including full spectrum obstetrics and endoscopy. Dr. Nelson graduated from Carlisle High School, received her bachelor of arts in microbiology from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and completed her doctor of medicine at UAMS in Little Rock. She and her husband, Andy Nelson, formerly of Bluff City, have two daughters, Lauren, 9, and Lexi, 6. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard F.
