Nevada County Picayune and Gurdon Times Newspaper Archive |
Bodcaw NewsBY ALINE CLAUSPublished Wednesday, November 22, 2000 in the Nevada County Picayune We've had a busy week flu shots and a harvest feast for friends group, and this week we are hosting the coffee for friends at the Chamber. Alova Dorman passed away this week. Services were held on Saturday. Debra and John Smith and family came from Colorado. Other family members lived in this area. Mary Anna Dorman's father, John Goodwin, passed away this week. Remember all these families. Norris Daniels had a nice surprise last week. David and Laurie Phelps and their three children came for a visit. She didn't know they were coming, but she got to hold her new grandson. Jack Daniels and Sonny and David had a singing engagement in the Dallas area. David Butler enjoyed a few days at the deer camp. He camped out, hunted and had some luck with his kill. Chris Butler is here for the holidays. He is going to Cabot to visit his mom and to see little Wesley. Families are planning their get-togethers. It is easier for some families to get together at this season rather than Christmas. Search | Nevada County Picayune by date | Gurdon Times by date |
