Paul, returned to Cut-Off, La., Tuesday after a visit here with her sister, Margie Reed. Margie and Betty McBride visited their doctor last week. I enjoyed having lunch with my sister, Pauline Blevins, of Nubbin Hill. Sunday after lunch we attended the funeral service for Anne Lee Renfro Cornelius. She was our next door neighbor when we grew up at Nubbin Hill. Mary Fern Overton is having minor surgery this week. Heather Callicott fell last week and broke a bone in her hand. She is doing fine and little Callicott is hanging in there. We expect him to appear later this month. Ann Loe and I attended the green wreath workshop sponsored by Bluff City EHC Thursday. About 15 homemakers were present and made beautiful wreaths. At our next workshop we will be learning how to knit, crochet, tat and more. If you're interested in any of these call me or call the extension office. Search | Nevada County Picayune by date | Gurdon Times by date |
