Dr. and Mrs. Jack Baldwin from Marshall, Texas, spent Mother's Day with her mother, Mrs. Carman Hendrix.

Visiting Mrs. Egger for Mother's Day were Delmer Egger and Robbie and Paul Ridgell.

Mozelle Gill spent Saturday with her daughter, Cherrie Wilson, and others, Carolyn Cullins, Jackie Lucas and son Norman Gill.

Oscar Hopson had visiting preachers and wives, Rev. Tony and Rev. Walker.

Louise Presson spent Mother's Day with Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Wesson. About 40 of her family were there and with a large barbecue lunch. Her son, Jerry Presson, also visited Saturday and Sunday.

Visiting Esther Reese Sunday was Pauline Hawley of Hope. Also, Sue Bowie brought her dinner.

Mrs. Bert Marsh's sister from Gurdon passed away Friday, May 7. Our sympathy goes out to her.

We honored our mothers with a celebration on Sunday. Our oldest mothers were 111 Delica Sockwell and 102 Gladice McSwain. Our youngest was Carrie Vandiver. Mariah Burk was the mother with the most children 15.
