Larry Alfred Lynn, 51, of Graysville, Tenn., formerly of Emmet, died Monday, November 13, 2000, at his home.

Mr. Lynn was born September 9, 1949, in Lake Village to Jim Tom Lynn and Nora Doris Merrell Lynn Eller. He was a owner/operator truck driver, a Baptist and a U.S. Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his father and his step-father, Sam Eller.

Survivors include his wife, Joy Carpenter Lynn of Dayton, Tenn.; one son, Sgt. Jepther Nathaniel Nathan' Lynn of Ft. Campbell, Ky.; three step-sons, Robert Samar, Lenora City, Tenn., Joseph Samar of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and John Samar of Knoxville, Tenn.; two step-daughters, Cheryl Mynheir of Newport, Tenn., and Barbara Samar of Tampa, Fla.; his mother, Doris Eller of Emmet; maternal grandmother, Gladys Merrell of Fairbanks, Alaska; a half brother, Tommy Edward Lynn of Oklahoma; three sisters, Nina Baker of Emmet and Edith Shankles and Linda Martin both of Fairbanks; and one granddaughter, Whitney Alexander Lynn.

Services were held Thursday, November 16, at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home Chapel in Hope with Rev. Buddy McKamie officiating. Burial was in Ayers Cemetery under the direction of Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home of Hope
