The officers and members of the Bethel Independent A.M.E. Church of Gurdon will celebrate their pastor and his wife, Rev. and Mrs. Daniel Flemons, pastor's anniversary on Sunday, Dec. 3. Everyone and all churches are welcome. Special guest will be New Mt. Zion Baptist Church of the city with Rev. Quintin Radford, pastor and speaker. Rev. Daniel Flemons, pastor.

Elehue Bunn and a friend from Los Angeles, Calif., visited his brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Darty Bunn and their family, Mrs. Minnie Lee Glenn and her family, Joe and Hazel Welch, and other relatives and friends of Gurdon and surrounding areas. He also went squirrel hunting while here.

Minister Benny Welch and his wife Ruthie of Osceola were here visiting their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe and Hazle Welch, his sister, Mrs. Lois Ann Williams, and her family and other relatives and friends in Gurdon, Burtsell and Hot Springs. Mr. Welch also went deer hunting.

The Martin Gospel Singers celebrated their anniversary Nov. 18 and 19 at St. John Baptist Church of Bluff City.
