Golden OldiesBY DORIS VANCEPublished Wednesday, November 22, 2000 in the Gurdon Times The senior adults enjoyed the music of Jerry Don Childers last Wednesday. The head start children came over to enjoy them also. The square dancers performed on Friday. This week the center will be closed Thursday and Friday for Thanksgiving. We wish everyone a happy and safe holiday. All of us have much to be thankful for. Next week we will celebrate November birthdays. The center is planning a Christmas dinner for Dec. 10. We invite everyone to attend as this will be printed later, but we will have chicken and dressing with all the trimmings. The year is fast drawing to a close and God has been good to us all.
