Fair Hill NewsBY BARBARA CORNELIUSPublished Wednesday, November 15, 2000 in the Nevada County Picayune The weather has been perfect for deer hunting, cold mornings and cool afternoons. Aaron Morton went up to his dads to do some deer hunting and killed a seven-point buck opening morning. John Henry Collins had heart surgery last week. I talked to his brother, Don, Monday night. He is home from the hospital and up walking. Speedy recovery, John Henry. Tony Overton, Kim Overton and Al Formby visited with Jeremy Skaggs and his family from Little Rock. They all spent time at Suckles Lake over the weekend. Jeremy has been in Georgia in training with the Air National Guard. Jeff and Miki Morrow's twins, Kati and Colen, were christened Sunday. Those attending were Grandpaw Larry and Grandmaw Janey Morrow, Great Grandmaw Genola Cornelius and Tracy and Abbey Morrow. After services they went to Jeff and Miki's house for lunch. Tom Cornelius had to go to Little Rock Monday night to get ready for a smoke test Tuesday morning. To the folks in our community: Please call me if you have news. I am looking for something to write about. Have a good week. Search | Nevada County Picayune by date | Gurdon Times by date |
