Kitty Sue Ellis, 83, of Prescott died Wednesday, November 8, 2000. at Hillcrest Care and Rehab of Prescott.

Mrs. Ellis was born March 5, 1917, in Nevada County to Lonnie Joseph and Leola Edwards Mann. She was a former co-owner of Ellis City Furniture and a homemaker. She was a member of the Prescott Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Howard Ellis, who died December 28, 1997, two brothers, Lonnie and Leo Mann, and one sister, Vera Odom.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Butch and Linda Ellis of Prescott; one daughter and son-in-law, Patsy and Bob Higginbotham of Prescott; a sister, Cleo Tippitt of Little Rock; a half-sister, Sue Baskin of McNeil; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Friday, November 10, at the Church of Christ with Gene Cloer officiating. Burial was in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery under the direction of Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home of Prescott.
