Freer, Coffman Plan Dec. 30 Wedding

Mr. and Mrs. Ron Freer of Gurdon and Mr. and Mrs. Steve Berry of Richardson, Texas, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Melanie Kay Freer, to Marshall Barclay Coffman, son of Marshall B. Skip' Coffman Jr. of Little Rock and Michele Beale of Hot Springs Village.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Dorothy Gates of Fordyce and the late Bob Kelley of Alabama, and Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Freer of Fordyce.

She is a graduate of the University of Arkansas, where she received a bachelor's degree in communications. She owns and operates Tumblebus of Northwest Arkansas.

The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Alpha Ambort and the late Don Barclay of Little Rock and the late Alice Edwards and the late Marshall B. Coffman of Little Rock.

He is a graduate of the University of Arkansas, where he received a bachelor's degree in accounting. He is employed at Coffman Investment Company out of Little Rock.

The wedding is planned for 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 30, in Montego Bay, Jamaica.
