Nuptials Are Planned

Rebecca Butler of Prescott and Lonnie Garland of Gum Springs announce their engagement and approaching marriage on Thanksgiving Day, November 23, at 5 p.m.

The wedding ceremony will be at New Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 240 West Warren in Prescott.

Rebecca is the daughter of the late Richard and Dail Brown Butler.

Lonnie is the son of the late Lonzo and Basie Cooper Garland.

In lieu of bringing gifts the couple requests that family and friends honor them with a potluck reception on this Thanksgiving Day. The candle lighted reception will be at the Ila Upchurch Community Center in Prescott.

The public is invited to attend. No invitations will be sent.
