Joy Cox of Redland and I attended Southwest District AEHC President Day, Thursday in Hot Springs.

Bro. Junior Loe is having cataract surgery this week in Little Rock. Surgery was scheduled for Monday.

Nez Callicott who had knee surgery last week, will be released from the hospital Tuesday. Daughter, Kay, had taken leave from teaching to help her mother.

Sandy and Dickie Brown of Arkadelphia had lunch with her parents, Bro. Raymond and Phanae Hicks. Michelle, Jessica and Tyler also had lunch Sunday.

I visited with Irma Hunter by phone. Her little granddaughter, Malissa McCarty of Gurdon entered the costume contest at the Harvest Festival in Gurdon. Irma was there to see her take first place in her age group. She also took third place in Brookshires' contest in Arkadelphia. She was dressed as Little Bo Peep.'

Irma also has a new great granddaughter, Regina Elliott. She is Scott Johnson's granddaughter. Regina's parents live in Willisville.

Matte Rhodes of Little Rock spent Wednesday to Saturday with her grandmother, Louise Rhodes.
