W have had an ideal rain, about 4 = inches.

Congratulations to Braith and Melissa Egger. They are the proud parents of a baby girl born Monday, October 30, weighing seven pounds and 15 ounces. They named her Lindsey Grace. Jerry and Dorothy Hendrix are the paternal great grandparents.

We are sorry to hear Mike Garner of Little Rock had heart surgery last week. His brother, Huey and wife Freddie, visited him Sunday. He was hoping to be home from the hospital.

Derenda Hartsfield of Hope, daughter of Margie Lucas, had surgery in a Shreveport hospital last week but is able to be home. Margie has spent some time with her.

Willie and I enjoyed having William Carl Elmore and wife, Erleen, of West Monroe visit us Monday. Judy and Ray Allen also visited us awhile. Judy told us Betty St. Clair was in Hope hospital with a blood clot in her leg.

Lenord and Sammy House was honored with a birthday dinner Sunday by Faye and Kaye House. Jason and Lauren also enjoyed this dinner and delicious coconut cake.

Lisa Shelton of Baytown, Texas, brought her dad, Bill, to Arkansas to do some deer hunting and is visiting her mother, Judy and Roy Allen.

Jackie and Georgia Johnson of Illinois are visiting his mother, Mildred Johnson and doing some deer hunting. Other visitors during the weekend were Doug and Carol Johnson of Little Rock, Gay and Don Shelton, their daughter, Michelle and children and Clinton Johnson.

Wanda White spent several days in the hospital last week. Sunday her and her son, George, were honored with a birthday dinner by Edgar White and the rest of the family in Little Rock.

Willie and I visited Mary Ann and J.D. Lucas Sunday afternoon.

Willie has heard wild geese going south. Better turn your electric blanket on Hazel.
