Hillcrest NewsPublished Wednesday, November 8, 2000 in the Nevada County PicayuneOut of town visitors to Hambric Cummings last week were his nephews, Pat Cummings from Oakland, Calif., Jeff Davis from Texarkana, Clint Stockton from Monticello, Matt Brannan from Arkadelphia and Andy Davis from Hope. A very special friend, Vernell Loe, from Bluff City also visited. Visiting Elnora Hopson last week were her sons, Wayne Hopson from Illinois and Collis Hopson from Missouri. Mary Nell Loyed from Stamps visited her mother, Geneva Barham. Ada Haynes enjoyed many visitors last week, including her son and his wife, Jerry and Vicky Haney, Matthew and Heather and new one-week-old Halia from Rockwall, Texas. Mr. and Mrs. Louie Dillard enjoyed visits from their family including J.E. Dillard and Cedalia Burke and Margaret Rhodes. Lula Butler also enjoyed these visits. Bro. John Carlson also visited on Wednesday. Mary Alice Moore from Nashville spent Thursday morning with Edyth Hughes. Jo DeWoody visited Lillian Terrell on Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Gene Britt visited Delsie Britt last week. George Cornelius and Karen Cobb visit their mother, Annie Cornelius, daily. Visiting Jimmy Lamb on Monday were two friends from McCaskill, Ricky Kate and Barbara Barber. Ed and Wanda White visited Donnie Rinkle. LeRoy and Emma Butler visited Minnie Moore. Basil and Estelle Tidwell visited Buck Huskey on Saturday. Bodcaw Baptist Church brought our service Sunday and everyone enjoyed their visit.
