Hughes, Beaver To Wed January 6Published Wednesday, November 8, 2000 in the Gurdon TimesThe engagement and upcoming marriage of Tara Lynn Hughes and Kenneth Allen Beaver is announced by their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Terry Hughes of Gurdon and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Beaver of Sacramento, Calif. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Goza and Mr. and Mrs. Andy Hughes of Arkadelphia. She is a 1998 graduate of Gurdon High School, a 2000 graduate of Central Baptist College at Conway and currently is attending Henderson State University. The prospective groom is the grandson of Flora Cooper and the late Floyd Cooper and Mr. and Mrs. George Beaver, all of Sacramento, Calif. He is a 1994 graduate of the Home-Schoolers Association and is currently in an apprenticeship program through the electrician's union. The wedding will take place at Beech Street Baptist Church in Gurdon at 6:00 p.m. on January 6, 2001. A reception in the fellowship hall of the church will follow the ceremony.
