Cassidy Allen Is Elected Junior Class President At OBUPublished Wednesday, May 12, 1999 in the Gurdon TimesTwenty-nine Ouachita Baptist University students have been elected by their peers to positions in the Student Senate and various class offices for the 1999-2000 academic year. Cassidy Allen, a mass communications major from Gurdon, was elected as junior class president. The OBU Student Senate acts as the official representative body for the student population to the Ouachita administration and various other public groups of the University.
