Bodcaw NewsALINE CLAUSPublished Wednesday, November 1, 2000 in the Nevada County Picayune Bro. Tom and June Stevens were in church Sunday morning. He is improving and we hope he will be back soon. Mary Poindexter came home today from the hospital. She, too, is improving. Morris and Carolyn Vines' little grandson, Hunter, had open heart surgery and is doing fine. Dexter, Earlene and Phyllis Butler enjoyed a bus trip to the Amish country in Tennessee and Ohio. They reported a great trip. Our youth took over on the fifth Sunday with teaching and all parts. They did a good job. Then a fellowship followed with a potluck meal. It seemed to be enjoyed by all. Russ Carlton sang for the Hillcrest birthday party Wednesday. He enjoys singing and the residents seem to enjoy him. Some of the youth attended the Judgement House at Garrett Memorial Baptist Church. This year's theme was The Ten Commandments.'
